Below is just one of many more recipes we will be sharing on The Wine and Dine Show. Believe it or not but ramen noodles will be the feature in a few more with fantastic results! Along with Chicken Parmesan and casseroles, quick meals for busy moms or bachelors.
Italian Ramen Noodle Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 packages of beef flavored ramen noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 24 slices of pepperoni
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup of water
- 2 small green bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- Sprinkle Basil, garlic (minced) and oregano to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and pepperoni over medium heat (about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain).
- Break blocks of noodles in half; set aside.
- Stir in tomatoes, water and ramen seasoning packets into beef mixture.
- Heat to boiling. Stir in noodles and bell peppers.
- Sprinkle Basil, garlic (minced) and oregano.
- Cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and let stand about 5 minutes or until cheese is melty.
